- The Red Cross is recognized by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) and the National Credentialing Agency (NCA) as a continuing education (CE) provider.
- Red Cross-sponsored activities qualify for ASCP Certification Maintenance Program points and NCA CE credits.
- The Red Cross offers programs that provide Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits for medical professionals.
