Placing Orders
Red Cross Representatives are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day including weekends and holidays to meet your hospital's needs. Please call 608.227.1205 to place an order.
When ordering please provide the following information:
- Name of hospital
- Name of person placing order
- Type of Product and number required
- Date the product is needed
- Any special requirement
- CMV negative, if applicable
- Irradiated, if applicable
- ABO/Rh
- Dating (e.g. Date of transfusion or special dating for a neonate)
We offer multiple delivery options and Hospital Services personnel will work with ordering hospitals to determine the best delivery option for you. These include:
- Volunteer drivers
- On-call weekend drivers
- Weekly delivery routes
- Distribution from emergency storage sites
- Commercial couriers — routine deliveries and special runs*
* special runs are generally at the hospital's expense
